In its bid to  reach out to the community and make the services known to a wider demographic, the Jordanian Royal Film Commission (RFC) contacted Hamzet Wasel to design a heritage challenge centered on the film-making process, the history of Jabal Amman and film culture. The challenge included students from both private and public schools in the Jabal Amman area, who were divided into five teams of six members each with students from different schools in each team. The first two days consisted of film-making workshops in which students learned about audio and camera operation, as well as movie-making basics. On the third day, teams embarked on their challenge in Jabal Amman, where they were required to follow clues to certain people and destinations of cultural and historical significance, and record the process. On the fourth day, teams converted their footage from the hunt into movies. A commission was appointed from the community of Jabal Amman to judge which movie was the best. Students made new friends and each participant learned about the human-value of their neighborhood, acquired valuable skills in the art of film-making and explored the importance of documentation in promoting social awareness and change. 

من خلال سعي الهيئة الملكية للأفلام لتعريف المجتمع المحلي بنشاطات الهيئة قاموا بالتعاقد مع همزة وصل لتصميم تحدي تراثي يتمحور حول صناعة الأفلام وتاريخ وتراث منطقة جبل عمّان. في هذا التحدي تم جمع طلاب من مدارس خاصة وحكومية في منطقة جبل عمان وتقسيمهم الى خمس فرق يضم كل منها ستة أعضاء من المدارس المختلفة.

في أول يومين تعلم المشاركون أسس التصوير وإستخدام الكاميرا والصوت ومبادئ صناعة الأفلام في ورشة مكثفة. ثم انطلقوا في ثالث يوم لإكمال التحدي في جبل عمان، حيث كان من المطلوب منهم حل ألغاز تقودهم الى أماكن وأشخاص معينين في المنطقة لهم أهمية تاريخية أو مجتمعية وتسجيل هذه التجربة على الكاميرات. في اليوم الرابع قاموا بتحويل المواد التي صوروها الى أفلام قصيرة، وقد قامت لجنة تحكيم من أهالي جبل عمان بتقييم الأفلام واختيار افضلها ليكون الفيلم الفائز في التحدي.خرج الطلاب من هذا التحدي وقد كونوا صداقات جديدة وتعلموا أكثر عن منطقتهم واكتشفوا اهمية توثيق التراث الثقافي والحضري لمدينتهم.
